Better known for his electro house style of music, Borgeous links up with Whoo Kid, Waka Flocka, and Wiz Khalifa for a real club banger. This collaboration brings some of the best artists from the trap and edm scenes. Check out the video for Toast above.
At the end of his My Own Lane tour, Kid Ink makes a stop in Tampa. As an emerging star this LA kid has caught the attention of everyone with his second studio album; My Own Lane. With the release of his platinum #1 record ‘Show Me’ Kid Ink has gained popularity nationwide as his song can be heard on radio stations everywhere. Since then other hits such as ‘Main Chick’ and ‘Iz U Down’ have helped to launch this budding star’s career. What will this tattoo crazed artist come up with next?
Hearing something on the radio does no justice for the real deal. Kid Ink was electric and the crowd was feeding off of his energy as he brought his A game. Interacting with the fans and even jumping off the stage had everyone going wild. Being in a small venue makes all the difference because I was about 20ft. from the stage and it makes the show that much better, not to mention the girls get pretty crazy too. I could see Kid Ink was feeling it as he threw in some older beats to his mix. Kid Ink was amazing to say the least and if he makes a stop in Tampa again I will be there. Its an experience that I can’t explain, if you get the chance to see an artist at a little hole in the wall club, don’t think twice.
Up Next: The 2014 Grad Fest on June 1, with about 12 local Florida hip-hop artists performing in downtown St. Pete. Should be pretty wild.
Out of Miami, FL comes the duo of Matt Toth and Julio Mejia, better known as GTA. From salsa to trap, GTA experiments with all genres of music to put their twist on. Mixing beats that are sure to get any crowd rowdy, they are making their presence known nationwide. GTA continues to become more popular and this time they’ve landed in Tampa.
After seeing GTA for the first time at The Gift in December, I was excited to see what they would bring to the table next. To say the least, they didn’t disappoint. Again, GTA proved how they can get the crowd going as everyone soon became alive. Playing for over two hours GTA had everyone rocking non-stop. Their beats left me speechless, wondering how they play exactly what the crowd wants. Then I realized, damn they’re just that good. Leaving the club wanting more, GTA had certainly done their job of captivating the attention of everyone. It was an experience like no other, the energy in the club was unreal and it was as if everyone became one.
Up Next: Kid Ink comes to Tampa on the 21st. On his My Own Lane tour, Kid Ink brings hits such as “Show Me” and “Main Chick”. Stay tuned for more and until then, Party On!
